Welcome, Dr Ishmael Adams – Dean of LIHE

We are pleased to welcome Dr Ishmael Adams as the new Dean of LIHE.
Dr Adams is an accomplished academic and higher education leader with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic management across Australian universities and colleges. His background spans project and construction management, urban planning, and higher education leadership.

Throughout his career, Dr Adams has successfully led academic teams, developed accredited programs, and ensured compliance with professional and government regulatory standards.

My vision is to strengthen academic excellence and expand industry-aligned programs across human services and the built environment. I aim to build a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusion.
