Studying at LIHE as an International Student

If you’re an international student planning to study at the LIHE campus in Parramatta, you’ll need to apply for the Student Visa (subclass 500) to enter and remain in Australia legally.

How to Apply for Your Student Visa

If you don’t currently hold a visa and are applying for a student visa for the first time, here’s what you need to do:

Apply to LIHE

Begin by submitting your application to LIHE. Once you receive and formally accept your Letter of Offer, you’ll be issued a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

Apply for Your Visa

With your CoE in hand, you can apply for the Student Visa (subclass 500) through the Department of Home Affairs website 1.

Prepare Your Documents

When lodging your visa application, you’ll need to provide:

• A valid passport
• Your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
• Your Letter of Offer from LIHE
• Any additional documents listed on the Department of Home Affairs’ visa checklist
• Submit Proof of Visa to LIHE
• Once your visa is approved, don’t forget to report to LIHE and submit proof of your visa approval.
